Michael Bom worked on his Maastunnel project in 2016. This resulted in a number of paintings, images, assemblages, photographs and an optical light machine. This exhibition showed an overview of his various works.
Triggered by the fantastic structure of the Maastunnel in Rotterdam which was built between 1937 and 1942 Michael Bom was inspired to create this series of works. To create these works he used historical material such as photographs, drawings and advertising. These works were exhibited in the two Maastunnel esculator buildings.
