In the summer of 2021 I undertook a research of the reflection, movement and rhythm on large water surfaces. I visited local beaches and lakes, made studies and sketches of moments of moving energy while watching these movements. Returning to my studio I created new works on canvas based on the observations I had made.

During these observations, there are moments that I experience as ‘magical’. The energy of such magical moments inspired me in creating these new works.
